EXHIBITION DATES:

January 17 – March 15, 2025

Vision - to empower and strengthen Appalachian women artists in an open welcoming environment, while encouraging a positive community connection.

Mission - to provide the opportunity for a diverse group of woman artists to exhibit their work, receive recognition and encouragement so they might continue to thrive, and to expose the community to one of Appalachian Ohio’s greatest assets, its artists.

Focus - The focus will be centered on producing an exhibit that is representative of the vast talent of this area while representing a diversity of lifestyles and personal backgrounds.

We are women of Appalachia, from diverse backgrounds, ages and experiences who come together to embrace the stereotype — to show the whole woman; beyond the superficial factors that people use to judge her.

We believe in the power of community.

Founder/Executive Director, Woman of Appalachia Project
